The Pre-licensing Course can be completed in the classroom or via distance learning/virtual classroom. If you choose the classroom version, then you will receive an MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. All courses have the same curriculum, no matter which version you choose. The provider will automatically report your completion to the DMV after you've successfully completed your course.
